When you are trying to lose weight you need to understand what type of body you have to get, they best weight loss program for you and your body type. Once you have figured out your body type then you can concentrate on what will work for you.
In order to determine what type of body you have there is in place a system that classifies bodies according to overall musculature, fat content, and bone structure. Although you are a combination of all three types there are some things about your body that are more pronounced, putting you into one of the following types:
* Ectomorphic bodies usually have little body fat, long, thin muscles, and small bone structure.
* Endomorphic bodies are generally large boned, stocky, plenty of muscles and store excess fats.
* Mesomorphic bodies have large bone structures, natural athletes, low body fat, and muscular.
Ectomorphs usually have a hard time gaining weight they do not need to do more than simply remove sweets, soda, and sport drinks from their diets to lose weight.
Endomorphs can make lifestyle changes and it will still not be enough. Your body stores fat and should not eat any type of fat. Use the leanest cuts of meat and broil, bake or grill your meats. You must follow a strict diet that you can live with. High fibre carbohydrates will make you feel full longer and will improve your digestion. You should eat 5 to 6 small meals per day instead of three. When you do this, your body will have nutrients to use for energy and will not store them as fat and you will not be so hungry that you will overeat.
Mesomorphs simply need to reduce their calorie intake and use a moderate exercise program to lose weight.
A regular exercise program is beneficial to all types although endomorphs need to incorporate weight lifting into their exercise program with a high number of repetitions. Aerobic exercise is a great option for endomorphs you should exercise for 20 minutes at least 3 days per week and increase training times gradually. A variety of exercises is best to make your fitness program fun. Some other exercise or fitness items that can be incorporated into your fitness program are dancing classes, spin classes, aerobic classes, biking, swimming, stair steppers, and rowing machines. Altering your exercise program and diet regimen on occasion will keep your metabolism active.
