Diet Patch Scam

Diet Patch Scam
Although your compassion for the Nigerian man who can't access his deceased grandfather's millions is admirable, the respect is probably not mutual. Also just think of how much more money that $300 per hour stay at home mom would make if she stopped taking time out of her day to send you 10 emails. Unfortunately, these are not real offers and neither is the diet patch scam you have probably received. It would be nice to lose weight by simply removing a patch every third day, but the research on it is not factual or proven. In addition to an inferior product, originators of the diet patch scam were in violation of federal trade commission laws because of their spam emails. The third straw would have to be the groundbreaking news that the before and after pictures were illegally obtained and/or Photoshopped. Apparently, nothing is sacred to these companies.

People usually fall for the diet patch scam as the result of a perfect storm brewing. Desperate, frustrated dieters were attacked in the sanctity of their own homes via an opportunistic email message. The diet patch scam models a product that is supposed to help you lose weight by absorbing the bad ingredients of food including caffeine, chromium, and iodine. The diet patch scam would have offered a great product if not for the simple fact that it just wasn't true.

The diet patch scam was blown open by the involvement of the FDA and Journal of American Medical Association. The FDA thought they would inspect the product because according to the marketing of the patch they had already approved it. Neither association found proof that the product did anything it claimed, and a number of multimillion-dollar lawsuits were settled because of these false claims.

If you choose to ignore the diet patch scam heresy and try the product for yourself, take some precautionary tips such as Googling the product companies and reading web site reviews. Although the Diet Power Patch Company seems like a fine institution, they may have been known as the Power Diet Patch Company last week.
