There are so many foods in this world for us to eat that we should never get bored with our meals. It isn't usually until we start looking at diets that we think we will get bored with a menu. This idea really has no merit, as you will see when we look at food for health. There are many food sources in a food for health diet that we can prepare in many different ways to balance our diets and help us remain healthy.



The first food for health we should have in our diet is almonds. They will provide fiber, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. These may help with heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers. Spinach gives us vitamins A & C, folate, riboflavin, B6, calcium, magnesium and iron. It could help your skin and hair look healthy.



Red beans and salmon are great food for health ingredients. Red beans are low fat, low calorie and have protein and fiber. Research is continuing to see if they help with chronic diseases. Salmon has the all important Omega 3's that may help to prevent heart attacks. This food for health great may decrease triglycerides and lower blood pressure.

This ensures that you will be able to eat a balanced diet without getting tired of the foods.
