Natural Cures For Hair Fall: Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil For Falling Hair

Hair Fall Facts

It is said that the hair is a person’s crowning glory. Well, how can it be the crowning glory when it keeps falling off, threatening baldness? Falling hair is one of the problems that affect people these days, men and women alike. Still, this is more pronounced in women as they tend to wear much longer hair than men.

Do not be alarmed though. Check the facts first. It is actually normal for a person to lose up to 120 strands of hair in a day. If more than 120 strands are being shed off, then it is already a problem.

Now, the real problem is, who is counting? So, before the problem worsens and the person becomes bald, he/she better start finding remedies to solve this as soon as possible.

Aloe Vera And Coconut Oil For Falling Hair

When a person is looking to keep his/her thick head of hair from thinning out, then he/she will need the help of certain remedies that will stop these hair loss problems. Here are some home remedies that may work for the individual:

  • Aloe vera is one of the many wonder herbs that can work well for hair loss problems.

Simply break open a fresh stalk from the aloe vera plant every night and get the sticky juice from it. Rub this juice on the scalp and leave on for an hour or two before washing or rinsing off. Do this every day for a thicker head of hair.

  • Mix together ½ cup of coconut oil with 1 tsp of lime juice. This is another remedy for hair loss. Just rub this mixture on the scalp with the use of a cotton ball. Leave on for an hour or so. Wash off with a mild shampoo. Do this daily.

  • Grind together seeds of lime and black pepper to make a fine paste. Apply this paste unto the balding patches and where hair loss is worst.

  • Mix in a bowl 1 tsp of fine cinnamon powder, some honey, and a little bit of hot olive oil. Mix well to form a smooth paste. Use this paste as an ointment and rub it into the scalp. This helps prevent and treat hair loss.

It is also a good idea to first determine why hair loss is happening. This will aid in finding the best remedies for the problem. For instance, if the hair loss is due to anemia, then the individual should add foods rich in iron and minerals into his/her diet.
