Abnormal Heart Rhythm Symptoms: Causes and Treatment for Arrhythmia . Question: My heart give a strong beat in between normal beats. Sometime I find gap in heartbeat which give pain and restless in the heart. Sometime palpitation , chest pain, solder pain. Sometime heartbeat becomes faster when sleeping as if I am going to have an attack then I switch on the light and sit which relaxes. I did ECG, thyroid test, ECHO, lipid all are normal. I was diagnosed as hypertensive patient but I am not getting any relief from medicine. I am suffering since 2 yrsAnswer: In medical language irregular heartbeats are termed as cardiac arrhythmia.
