How to Make Lemon Balm Essential Oil

  • Get fresh lemon balm leaves and chop them to make ¾ cup of lemon balm. You can also use dried lemon balm leaves, chop them to make 1/8 cup of it.
  • Put the chopped lemon balm in a clean jar glass.
  • Add 1 cup of olive oil to the chopped lemon balm.
  • Cover it with a tight-fitting lid and label the jar. Indicate the date on the jar.
  • Place the covered jar in a sunny area for 14 days. Do not forget to shake the jar every day.
  • After 14 days, separate the chopped leaves of lemon balm from the oil with muslin or cheesecloth.
