Cholesterol can be one of the biggest health risks for people especially when it becomes dangerously high. High cholesterol can trigger heart attacks as well as strokes. This could potentially kill you or put you in a state where you would have to be cared for all the time. Instead of letting this happen, why not reduce the amount of cholesterol you take in each day. Cut out all the foods that can cause your body to have severe health issues and get on the way to becoming a healthier you.



You may think that it will be hard to go on a diet but on the cholesterol reduction diet, you will notice that you will start to feel better. You will shed a few pounds, and most important on your next trip to the doctor's office, he or she will tell you that you have reduced your cholesterol levels by using and following the cholesterol reduction diet.



You may ask what kinds of foods I can eat on the cholesterol reduction diet. You can eat many different foods on this diet. Fruits such as, raspberries and grapes that fill you up and are good for you and legumes and nuts can be eaten as well. If you are going to eat meat, make sure that it is a lean cut and not a real fat filled cut. If you are going to eat fish or chicken, make sure that it is skinned and lean cut as well and that it is baked or grilled and not fried.



Try to cut out all the foods that have saturated fat in them. Avoid trans-fat filled foods if possible because this can drastically increase cholesterol levels. Remember to eat plenty of fresh vegetables as well. The cholesterol reduction diet will lower your cholesterol to a healthy level quickly if used properly.
