Natural Remedies For Insomnia
Having adequate sleep gives the body rest. Insomnia is a condition of sleeplessness. It is the inability to fall asleep at night or it may term as the inability to have deep sleep for many hours. If you do not have sound sleep your body and mind will not have rest and it interferes with activities during the day.
Symptoms of insomnia:
1) Difficulty in falling asleep
2) Waking up early
3) Inability to have deep sleep
4) Insomnia in turn leads to weak memory, irritability, disturbance in regular activities, lack of concentration and confusion.

1) Drink a glass of milk without the cream removed and adding cardamom powder to it. Drink this before going to bed.
2) Boil some mint leaves in 1 cup of water for 15-20minutes. Take this when it is lukewarm mixing with honey.
3) Add few drops of lavender oil to the warm bathwater and enjoy a nice bath before going to bed.
4) Exercise regularly to make the body muscles strain. You get a nice sleep and your muscles get relaxed.
5) Take a glass of water and 2tsp honey. Mix well and drink before going to bed.
6) Take ½ liter of water and 2tsp anise seeds. Boil them in the water. Strain them and drink the water. Drink it before bed time to get a sound sleep.

1) Go for a walk every morning. Try to do it outdoors.
2) Avoid taking big meals late nights.
3) Complete your dinner late in the evening. It takes 2-3 hours to digest a big meal.
