Prostate Disorder Symptoms | Signs of Prostate Diseases

Signs of Prostate Disorders:
To know if you have a prostate disorder, you must be aware of what to look out for. You have to know the common symptoms that come with it to be able to dispel your fears and doubts if you have the illness or not.

Although there are three disorders of the prostate, the symptoms of these are very much the same. Only an urologist is able to ascertain which of the disorders is causing the symptoms that a person could be feeling.

So that you can be sure if you have prostate disorder and the type that you may have, you should visit your doctor if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:

  • Burning sensation while urinating

  • Repetitive urination

  • Pain or difficulty in urinating

  • Pain in the pelvis

  • Abdominal pain

  • Impotence

  • Urinary tract infection

  • “Dribbling” of urine or incontinence

  • A sudden failure to urinate

  • A feeling that the bladder could never be emptied fully

  • Nocturia

  • Hematuria and/or anemia

When being tested for prostate disorders, terms such as nocturia and hematuria could be mentioned and heard often.

Although they might sound foreign, they have definitions that would explain things clearly to you.

Nocturia is the term for frequent urination during nighttime. As this repetitive urination would wake men up many times during the night, there is a possibility of this resulting in sleep deprivation.

Hematuria, on the other hand, simply means that there is a presence of blood found in the urine. While blood is usually detected only through lab tests, there are times when the urine may appear brown or pink in color.
