Symptoms of Intestinal Worms | Signs of Intestinal Parasites

What are Intestinal Worms Symptoms?
What symptoms can you see when a person has intestinal worms? How can you tell if you have these parasites in your body? An intestinal worm infection can be easily seen with a few telltale symptoms, and here are some of them:

  • A person who has intestinal worms may exhibit physical symptoms like loss of weight despite eating properly, dark circles under the eyes, foul breath, paleness, and bloating. Bloating can also lead to gas and flatulence.

  • Other symptoms include diarrhea or constipation, feelings of nausea, weakness, headaches, and even chest pain.

Some people may find that they constantly crave for food or they do not have any appetite to eat. Others may find that they can’t sleep too well at night or are constantly tired.

  • Some of the symptoms that can also show when you have intestinal worms include vomiting, blood in your feces, an itchy rectum, fever, cough, and skin itching. Usually when a person feels that their rectal area is itchy, it is often prone to redness and soreness from scratching.

  • Some people may also experience irritability, nervousness, anxiety, and other mental problems.

  • Worms may also be physically seen in people who are infected. These are usually seen in the stools of those who are infected.
