This is not to say that an old person should not take place in the same physical activity as a younger person. The two can take part in similar events but the only differences will be in the intensity of the exercise.



Take logging for example, as much as both young and old people can both take part in jogging as a sport to reduce weight, the speed of the run that the old man might run could yield results for him but fail to give any results for the younger person since they do not burn the same amount of calories at the same pace. The numbers of exercises that people can engage in to loose weight are many and every body can have the privilege of choosing whichever activity they like most.



Some of the most common exercises that can help individuals in loosing weight are swimming, biking, walking and jogging among many others. The main advantage of these types of activities is that they do not have to cost the person too much money. if you have a swimming pool in your compound, you are best placed to loose weight through swimming. It is important to note that swimming will not only help you in loosing weight but also in keeping all your body muscles fit and strong.



Jogging and running can be done along the road or at your community playground without having to part with any money. All you could have to do is buy some good shoes and sporting outfit to keep you safe and to make your sessions enjoyable enough.
