Obesity has almost become pandemic in its spread, across nations and boundaries. The health risk posed by Obesity is truly immense. Obesity has been related to many serious and chronic, and even fatal diseases like, Cardio vascular disease, Diabetes, Hypertension, Arthritis, hyperlipidemia and also cancer. So that definitely means that being obese is not only unattractive, but also very much unhealthy and risky too.



The majority of the population is well aware of these health risks associated with obesity. That is the reason why they are desperately seeking to lose weight. But though they decide to lose weight and plan accordingly, they are at a loss, when they try to decide what to eat to lose weight. Simply fasting and cutting back on the food consumed, will not cause a satisfactory weight loss, and neither will it be healthy. So it would be prudent to remember that a healthy weight loss can be achieved only by eating healthy and combining effective exercise routines along with it.

This means that, even though the dates and the nuts are extremely healthy and best suited for good health, if you stick to only dates and nuts, you are in for lot of trouble. So maintain a healthy balance in your diet. Do not go for extreme diets like low carb diets, protein diet etc. these diets will help to los weight, but not in a safe and secure manner. The other foods you can include in your daily diet and eat without any worries are the whole grains, fruits like grape fruits, the oranges, bananas, the peaches, the apples, blueberries, pine-apples, cantaloupes and almost every fruit. Also fish, lean meat, chicken without any fat, beans, avocados, flax seeds, broccoli, asparagus, zucchini, oat meals, brown rice, mixed grain cereals etc are all best bets.
