Improve Eyesight Naturally With Yoga Exercises

Here is a simple way to improve eyesight with yoga.

Close your eyes and imagine that you are staring at a huge clock which has numbers and hands. Now imagine that the clock has filled the entire space on the wall in front of you. Then open your eyes. Look up at the position of 12 o’clock and look down at 6 o’clock. Look and 3 o’clock and look at 9 o’clock. Look at 1o’clock and diagonally at 7 o’clock. This way look at one figure and immediately look the diagonally opposite figure on the clock. Repeat each of these several times before going onto the next. Finally, move your eyes slowly round in big smooth circles, starting at 12’ o’clock and working right round the clock face. Do this a few times in each direction.

Palming For Better Eyesight

Palming is an effective method to relax eyes, especially after straining your eyes while reading or working on the computer for long duration. Regular palming also helps to reduce refractory error to certain extent. The first step of palming is to rub your palms against one another to make them warm. Now place the right palm over right eye and left palm over left eye. Do not press your palms too tightly. The pressure applied should be mild and on the outer area of the eye. When the palms cover the eyes, keep them there for eight to ten seconds.

After eight to ten seconds, remove your palms and take rest. Your one round of palming is complete. After 2 to 3 minutes, repeat one more round of palming.  When this is over you are free to do your work. Palming can be practiced anywhere and it does not require any special place to do it. You can also do it in your office.

Do this routine for a month, and you will find that you can actually improve eyesight with yoga exercises. These eye exercises help to improve eyesight without glasses being used or without having to undergo any expensive surgery. You will need to be diligent in doing these exercises regularly to see some improvement. You have to do these exercises with a clear mind and without mental stress. Pretty soon you will find that you can indeed improve your eyesight naturally with exercises meant for your eyes.
