Brain Tumor Treatment

Brain Tumor Treatment
What Is a Brain Tumor?

A brain tumor is a buildup or growth of abnormal cells in the brain. Several different types of brain tumors have been identified that are both benign and malignant in nature. Brain tumors can be categorized as two different types: primary and secondary. Primary tumors originate in the brain while secondary tumors begin as cancer in another part of the body and metastasize to the brain. Brain tumor symptoms and causes vary depending on the location of the tumor, its size, and rate of growth.

Brain tumor symptoms vary greatly but generally include several of the same issues. Common symptoms associated with brain tumors include the onset of headaches or a change in the pattern or frequency of headaches, unexplained nausea and vomiting, vision problems, loss of sensation or movement control in the arms or legs, difficulty balancing, problems with speech, confusion, personality and behavior changes, seizures, and hearing problems.

Much less common than secondary tumors, primary brain tumors result from errors or mutations in the normal cells of the brain. The mutation causes abnormal cell development and results in a mass of the atypical cells. Secondary tumors are a result of cancer elsewhere in the body that spreads to the brain. This type of brain tumor is more frequently found in individuals with a history of cancer; however, a metastatic brain tumor may be the first sign of cancer in very rare cancers. Secondary tumors are typically a result of breast, colon, kidney, or lung cancer.

Natural Brain Tumor Treatment

Brain tumor treatment varies greatly depending on the severity of the tumor itself. Nonetheless, supplementing treatment with natural methods is highly effective. A regimen of DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) taken orally and applied topically has shown to reduce tumor size and speed recovery. Additionally, lemon juice and baking soda, aloe vera oil, and vitamin C are effective treatment options. A diet high in protein and low in sugar has also been shown to boost cancer recovery.
