Easy Ways To Prevent Sunburn










Sunburn causes due to over exposure of your skin to sun.Sunburn is common in persons staying outdoors or while pursuing outdoor activities like running,hiking or swimming. Sunburn looks bad and hurts. It peels of the skin and also induces wrinkles.most sunburns even those which cause blisters can be treated at home. Anyone suffering from fever and chill due to sun burn must consult a doctor immediately.There are a wide variety of remedies to treat sunburn at home.










 


Symptoms of Sunburn:


1)   Tenderness


2)   Rashes


3)   Blisters


4)   Peeling skin


5)   Extreme sunburn can also result in fever,nausea,vomiting and flu.


 


Causes of Sunburn:


1)   Exposure to UV Rays of the sun



Home remedies to prevent sunburn:


1)   Take 3 tsp of lemon juice and 3 tsp of honey. Mix this well and apply this mixture on your skin especially on the affected area. Wash it off with cold water after 20 minutes. Your skin gets nourished and tender free.



2)   Take a cucumber and make paste. Add some lemon juice to this paste and mix it well. Apply this mixture on your skin and wash it off after 15 minutes. You can see a great change in your skin and your skin gets refreshed.



3)   Make a paste of 3 tomatoes. Mix it with 2 tsp of yogurt. Mix it well and apply this on the affected area. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and wash it off with normal water. Repeat this twice a day to get a good result.



4)   Add a cup of apple cider vinegar to a bucket of water. Take bath with this water which helps to balance the ph levels of sunburned skin and aids healing.



5)   Apply cool milk with a clean cloth on your skin especially on the affected area . Milk contains a protein film that helps ease sunburn discomfort.



6)   Apply aloe vera to the burned skin. Aloe vera helps prevent skin from drying out and keeps it moist.


 


Tips:


1)   Drink plenty of water.


2)   Protect your body while going outside.


3)   Wear loose clothing over sunburned areas.


4)   If you are applying aloe vera make sure you are not rubbing it over your skin as it will raise irritation.
