Allergy  is caused due to allergens like pollen, dust, feathers, mites, chemicals and a variety of foods. In the presence of allergens, the immune system releases chemicals called histamine to fight what it perceives as an invader. Histamines cause many reactions including swelling and congestion of nasal passages and also produce mucus. Allergy is a hypersensitive reaction by the body to an external stimulus. Allergies create discomfort in our day to day life.












Symptoms of allergies:

3)      Anaphylactic attack



There are 3 types of allergies:


1)      Respiratory allergies which cause


a)      Sneezing


b)      Coughing


c)       Asthma


d)      Watering of eyes and nose



2)      Food allergies which cause


a)      Diarrhea


b)      Eczema


c)       Skin rashes


d)      Flatulence



3)      Contact allergies which lead to:


a)      Itching


b)      Blisters


c)       Burning sensation



Causes of


Respiratory allergies: Airborne allergens like dust, pollen etc


Food allergy: adverse reaction to certain food items


Contact allergy: skins reaction to some metals, deodorants, latex or fragrances.


 



HOME REMEDIES FOR ALLERGIES:


1)      Vitamin C has anti inflammatory properties. Take a glass of lukewarm water and squeeze half lemon in it. Add 1 tsp honey to it. Mix well and drink this on empty stomach.


2)      Turmeric is a natural herb which has many anti inflammatory properties. It is an excellent home remedy for those suffering from fatigue due to allergies. Consume at least 500milligrams of turmeric three times daily to get rid of allergies.


3)      Take 3-4 carrots and extract its juice. Take 100ml beetroot juice and 100ml cucumber juice. Mix all of them well and drink it every day to get rid of allergies.



Tips:


1)      Cut out cooked fats and oils in your food


2)      Eliminate dairy products from your diet.


3)      Drink lot of water.
