Low Calorie Diet Longevity

Low Calorie Diet Longevity
Have you wondered how to keep low calorie diet longevity? Anytime you want to stick with a diet you have questions. You wonder how it will be possible and if it will really work for you. The best thing for low calorie diet longevity is to be realistic. Let's take a look at what low calorie diet means to determine if low calorie diet longevity is possible.

A low calorie diet is one that is under 1500 calories, and closer to 1200 calories. The typical person has been taught to eat 2000 calories a day for a healthy life. However, as we head towards obesity and fast food options we have to consider that 2000 calories a day is not a good option. For low calorie diet longevity you have to slowly work yourself down to the 1200 calories a day.

If you try to start out at 1200 calories after eating 2000 calories a day, you will not find low calorie diet longevity. In fact you will try the 1200 calories for a few days, maybe as long as a month before reverting back. The reason low calorie diet longevity is not possible when you cut your calories immediately is hunger.

You will be hungry after the first meal where you cut calories. 1200 calories means you eat 300 per meal with a 100 calorie snack between breakfast and lunch, and another between lunch and dinner. If you are used to a third snack in the evening this is even harder to promote low calorie diet longevity.

So, what do you do to obtain low calorie diet longevity? First cut 100 calories per week from your diet. Begin to eat more vegetables and fruits during your meals, and cut out carbohydrates. Instead of having garlic bread with spaghetti eat whole grain bread. Whole grain bread is ten times better than garlic bread. It will also have less calories. Eat yogurt at breakfast for both dairy and fruit, rather than a cup of milk and a cup of fruit. Changing out the foods you eat will help, but more you will stop craving the foods that are bad for you.
