Ideally your best option for low carb diet snacks is something that is high in protein, with healthy fat, and fiber. For example raw vegetables, eggs, and jerky are all low carb diet snacks. Here are a couple of ideas for you regarding the low carb diet snacks: celery with peanut butter, celery with tuna salad, hard boiled eggs, deviled eggs, dill pickles with cheddar cheese, berries and cottage cheese, raw nuts.



These examples of low carb diet snacks are just a small portion of the millions of other snacks out there. The idea in these foods is that they have vegetables with a good amount of nutrients and protein to add to the diet. Protein is a better energy source than carbs. You will feel full after eating the snack, but more you will not begin to feel tired.



Carbohydrates can tire you out quickly once they leave your system. You will feel a good energy rush that suddenly dissipates. If you do not have time to make a snack like hard boiled eggs there are other options. In the evening make up your snacks for the next day. Put some peanut butter in celery stalks or hard boil some eggs. If this does not work for you consider grabbing pre- made snacks.



The grocery store will sell pre cut vegetables and fruits. You can just grab the tray as you walk out the door. Nuts are not something you really have to do anything with, so just buy a few packages of various nuts. Sunflower seeds are another option or low carb trail mix. With low carb diet snacks you can find just about anything you want on the shelves.
