More like syrups, the two mineral supplements are very essential for children and the elderly people. Lactating and pregnant women must however seek a physician's approval before settling for a regular dose of calcium and magnesium supplements, either in tablet or in liquid form. This group of users (children, elderly, the pregnant and lactating) need a daily dosage of about 400 mg calcium and 150 mg magnesium.
