Healthy Weight Range

Healthy Weight Range
Everybody wants to know what their healthy weight range is. And it is actually something very good because this way a person will know whether he or she has to lose weight or not.

There are many ways and formulas which you can use to calculate your healthy weight range- some of them are considered to be more reliable than others. However, I am not going to give you all of the ways for calculating the healthy weight range but only those which are proved to be reliable!

The first method of calculating your weight range is very easy. If you are a woman, you need to deduct the number 100 from your height in centimeters- it is your upper limit. And then you need to deduct 105 which will give you the minimum of kilos which you can weigh. For example, if you are a woman who is high 165 centimeters then you can weigh between 60 (165-105) and 65 (165-100) kilos. The figures which you need to use if you are a man are 95 and 100! The calculations are absolutely the same!

However, there is another method which is considered to be quite more reliable. By using this method you will understand whether your weight index is below or above the average! And now you are probably wondering how you can find out your weight index, aren't you? Although the calculations are not difficult, you still need to read carefully otherwise you risk making a mistake! What you need to do first is raising your height in meters to second. When you do it, you will get a number and you have to divide your kilos into the number which you got. Now let's try to calculate the body index of a man who weighs 95 kilos and his height is 1.80 meters. Firstly we need to raise 1.8 to second- it equals 3.24. Then we simply divide 95 into 3.24 and the calculation shows that the weight index of that guy is 29.3. If your weight is normal, the index should be between 19.4 and 25.3.

The conclusion is that our guy has a weight problem and he needs to lose some weight. But how many kilos does he need to get rid of? All you need to do is to multiply 19.4 and 3.24 and you will get the minimum of kilos which the guy can weigh- in our case that is 63 kilos. And then, if you would like to find the upper limit, you just have to multiply 25.3 and 3.24- the result is 81 kilos. Did you see how easy it is- all you need to do is some simple calculations!
