Residential Weight Loss Program
After you have gone through strict weight loss program and followed its advice, you will belong to that enviable bracket of people called slimmers. Many slimmers often come up with an important query? Now that I have knocked off all my extra kilos, can I go back to eating heartily again and be merry?
The answer is do not waste all that effort you have just put in to lose weight? Do you want to be a yo-yo all your life? Would you like to be addressed as, "Hey Fattie" again?
Fat reduction is not permanent if you go back to your old eating habits or slip back into your old, lazy lifestyle. If you do that, it won't be long before you also go back to your old weight. It's like a game of snakes and ladders. You have to be alert and shrewd and not slip while you are winning.
Don't lose heart. You have come this far. It is a challenge for you to maintain your slim appearance and you know life is full of challenges. Eating a balanced meal that is low in calories and fat and following a proper exercise program should be a way of life with you now.
Remember a few golden rules:
You have to fit exercise into your life every single day. Don't resort to excuses of not today. Of course you can exercise at least every alternate day. But you must make sure that exercise becomes a part of your life forever.
Holidays especially should not be your excuse for not exercising and dieting. These days, every hotel has a dieter's menu. Or you can simply ask your hotel to make you a special meal that is low in calories and low fat too. Most holiday spots have grounds and gardens to walk in. Take advantage of the diet menu and exercise facilities available.
Occupy yourself with some activity, as being idle definitely makes you think of food. It is a vicious cycle once you slip into a lazy routine. Old habits do die hard. Take up a new course or find a new interest to keep you busy. There is always something interest available to all age groups.
Incidentally, if you have faltered, don't despair, don't give up. Do remember that it is only after a fall that you get up wiser. Most achievers are people who have suffered a downfall and who have then picked themselves up to rise to the top.
