- Ginger is a very good remedy for IBS. Ginger can be had in a few different types of home remedies. One of these remedies is the eating of a slice of ginger with some lime juice after your meals. This is said to help with digestion and with IBS problems.
- Another ginger remedy that you can use when suffering from IBS is one that takes the powdered form of this herb. Simply mix together a teaspoon each of ginger powder, pepper, and ground green cardamom seeds and mix together well. Take this powdered mixture and mix around half a teaspoon of it with a cup of water. Take this remedy about an hour after you eat.
- Brandy with water can actually help with IBS. Just take a couple of tablespoons of brandy and mix it with a glass of water and drink this before you go to bed.
- Some herbal teas are also good treatments for IBS. Drink a cup of chamomile, rosemary, or peppermint tea after eating to help with IBS problems.
