The fiber content and low calorie both help to keep the weight reduced or controlled. The bioflavonoid present in fruits and vegetables along with vitamin C strengthens connective tissue and capillaries. They are also essential in assisting the body to utilize most of the other nutrients. Spinach, cherries, rosehips, citrus fruits, apricots, blackberries, and grapes are high in list of such foods.

  • Sleep: An abnormal sleep is widely accepted to be a cause for fibromyalgia. Sleeping for at least 7 to 8 hours is essential for a patient suffering from this condition.
  • Stress management: Managing stress is essential to reduce pain and fatigue present in this condition. Meditation and yoga are helpful to cope up stress and emotionally traumatic events.
Aside from the above, patient should avoid caffeinated drinks, alcohol, sugars and sweets, artificial sweeteners as all are detrimental to health of a patient suffering from fibromyalgia.
