Whenever you are taking psyllium husk, it is important to drink enough amount of water to stay well hydrated. This is because the husk will absorb water from wherever it can.

In most cases, Psyllium is harmless supplement when consumed. But sparingly few people may find bloating, gas after taking psyllium for the first time. It may recede after one or two days of its use.
