When I can start yoga after delivery. I have born cesarean child, so please give me tips for my diet.

It is advisable to start mild yoga exercise after 3 to 4 months of cesarean section. But your doctor’s opinion is necessary before starting the yoga exercise. By this time your body must have regained strength to perform yoga exercise and the tissues must have healed after caesarean section.

Don’t do any stressful exercise or asana which make you discomfortable and painful.

Start with easy asana in the beginning, and consider doing yoga for a long term to achieve your target.

Early morning yoga are beneficial, bowels must be passed before starting yoga. It must be performed on hard floor; you can use a mat or a rug.

  • In the beginning start with rhythmic breathing and pranayama.
  • Shavasana is asana meant to relax the body you may do this asana after breathing and pranayama.
  • Take rest between two asana
  • Wear comfortable clothes
  • Whenever you get time sit in vajrasana or padmasana
  • When you feel comfortable after 6 to 7 months you can do surya namaskar or agnisar they are useful exercise for abdomen
Diet:

  • Eat in moderation
  • Your diet should contain all essential food needed such as proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals.

  • Eat fresh fruits, vegetables and drink milk in sufficient quantity
