Best Fad Diet

Best Fad Diet
There are several contenders for the best fad diet and the best fad diet can depend entirely on you. Everyone's body is different, so what may constitute the best fad diet for one person may not work for another. With this in mind, we will give you the parameters for the best diet and let you decide. It is a good idea to get your health professional involved when looking for a diet, whether it is a fad or not.

Some of the fad diets that have been popular in the last few years include the Atkins Diet, the Zone Diet, Sugar Busters, the South Beach Diet and Protein Power. All of them make the claim that they are the best fad diet. However, do you really lose weight and keep it off on any of them? If you enjoy the food on the diet plan and there is science to back up the weight loss claims then it could be the best fad diet.

Most of the best fad diets tell you to cut down or eliminate sugary desserts and snacks. This is a good idea from a health standpoint, so all of the fad diets could be the best if this were the only criteria.

Many of the diets restrict you to a limited number of calories, at least in the beginning. This is done to jump start your weight loss, but you may not be able to function on only 1200, 1350 or 1500 hundred calories a day. This is where you will need some professional advice before starting any diet. To have the diet plans work they tell you to eat all of the food you are allotted as most of them work in combination to help you lose weight.

Everyone of the best fad diet books extol the virtues of exercise and most agree that thirty minutes a day at least three times a week is the least you should do. You can break it into increments of ten minutes each to get in the full thirty though, so that might make it easier.
