Blind Pimples

Blind Pimples

Most pimples form a whitehead or a blackhead. But a blind pimple looks more like a swollen pink bump on your skin. This is a closed comedone, also known as a papule, which can be tender to the touch. It might be tempting to squeeze a blind pimple, but avoid that temptation. You can treat blind pimples with natural remedies and skin products. In some cases, if the blind pimple doesn’t resolve with home remedies, you might have to visit your dermatologist.

How to Deal with Blind Pimples
Warnings:

  • Don’t Pick or Squeeze. Do not dig at the blind pimple with pins or needles, and don’t squeeze it hard in an attempt to get rid of what is underneath. This will only increase your odds of getting an infection, damage the skin and possibly leave an unsightly scar.

  • Be Careful with Toothpaste. One of the most popular remedies is toothpaste; however, we don’t recommend that you try this. Toothpaste might be useful for some people, but there are good odds that toothpaste will cause irritation to the skin, and that can leave you in worse shape. Try out these home remedies instead.
