You can also improve the cereal you eat for breakfast. Choose a healthy diet breakfast cereal such as shredded wheat. Shredded wheat has a high concentration of fiber that your body can breakdown. If you top the cereal with walnuts or other nuts, you are adding more fiber plus protein.



Smoothies as part of a healthy diet breakfast are another option. We are not talking about smoothies such as you get in a smoothie shop. Instead, you need a cup of milk, a serving of one to two fruits, a protein additive, and nuts. You are getting your dairy, protein and fruit in one easy meal. Smoothies in the healthy diet breakfast are easy to grab and go.



The breakfast burrito has recently become a highly popular item, and for good reason. You can make a healthy meal all in one. You will want a four-inch tortilla filled with a scrambled egg, low-fat cheese, and some type of meat. You can choose sausage, bacon, ham or leave out the meat as part of the healthy diet breakfast. The egg provides enough protein.



Lox and bagel has also been on the healthy diet breakfast for several years. Lox is simply salmon combined with low-fat cream cheese. It offers a good amount of protein in the diet, without overdoing the rest of the meal. Most of the breakfast items will have fresh fruit along with it.
