Natural weight loss diets tend to advocate eating only food that can be grown and eaten in their natural state. So for example, meat products are out as these have to be dealt with and processed in a way that vegetables don't. This puts vegetables high on the list of things that can be eaten.



True natural weight loss diets also suggest that where possible, these things need to be eaten raw and uncooked. So, meals consist mainly of fresh vegetables as cooking is considered to destroy many of the best nutritional valued parts. To be fair, there is scientific evidence to support this. However, all raw diets are hard work and not for everybody.

If you don't get the combination of food right, you will be very hungry as there is little bulk and comfort in foods that can be eaten raw. So, for some people natural weight loss diets have to be engineered a little to make them sustainable. This may mean that you simply need to cook some of the food to make it more palatable, or perhaps add some vegetables like the potatoes that you wouldn't eat raw, and use them to add a bit of bulk to your meals.



Natural weight loss diets can be on the extreme end of the spectrum. However, the basis is good thinking and involves eating lots of good food items, but as mentioned contains little in the way of bulk.



Use the basis of natural weight loss diets to build a more sensible eating plan for you. Include some other foods that are also good for you, such as fish and eggs.



Natural weight loss diets can be found on the Internet, which is a useful place if you are wondering where to start looking for diet information. You may find some that have already been amended to make them more realistic. If not, just keep your additions to sensible food items that are not high in fat but are known to be healthy.
