Pediatricians Push to Keep Thimerosal in Vaccines Despite Health Risks 
Doctors are making startling efforts to push the continued use of hazardous chemical compounds in vaccinesfor children.
The American Academy of Pediatrics just released a statement recommending the continued use of toxic thimerosal in vaccines.
Thimerosal is a mercury-based preservative added to vaccines that is detrimental to the health of those vaccinated.
Thimerosal contains 49.6 percent mercury which is metabolized or degraded into ethylmercury and thiosalicylate. Mercury is primarily added to vaccines to kill contaminants, however, the mercury also kills much more.
Even though thimerosal was eventually removed from most of childhood vaccines in 2001, it is still used in multi-dose vials and is present in flu vaccines. However, this does not mean there isn’t mercury in other vaccines.
According to Prof. B Haley, one of the top mercury specialists, companies continue to use Thimerosal to save money! The cost of vaccines would significantly increase from manufacturers having to switch from producing multi-dose to single dose vials. She also stated that companies add thimerosal to vaccines and later try to filter it out afterwards.

Supporters of continuing the use of thimerosal, such as Dr. Walter Orenstein (associate director of Emony Vaccine Center) stated that there is no conclusive evidence of significant harm from thimerosal in vaccines. However, there is no scientific evidence to back up their claims on the safety of thimerosal as a preservative.
Furthermore, the Emony Vaccine Center is affiliated with those who benefit from keeping thimerosal in vaccines, such as; CDC and the National Institutes of Health.
The detrimental health hazards of mercury are well known. Studies have shown the connection between mercury and cardiovascular disease, seizures, mental retardation , dyslexia, nervous system conditions, hyperactivity, and autistic behaviors.
Of most concern is how much mercury is in the vaccines. Hepatitis B vaccines contain approximately 12.5 micrograms of mercury per dose. This vaccine, which is mostly commonly administered soon after birth, contains more than 100 times the EPA’s upper limit standard.
Injecting mercury is also very different than ingesting it. When mercury is injected it goes straight into your muscle or blood stream.
A study by Hewitson examined the effect of administering the same MMR vaccine typically given to children, on macaque monkeys. The MMR vaccine contained the thimerosal preservative.
Results showed that only the monkeys who were given the MMR vaccine had changes in amygdala volume and the binding capacity of DPN in the amygdala.
It was documented that the significant biological changes and altered behaviors observed in those who received the vaccine, were identical to children diagnosed with autism.
Are you safe if you get thimersoal free vaccines?
Thimersoal free does not mean the vaccine is mercury free. According to some it should really be labeled “thimerosal decreased”.
