How to Get Rid of Dandruff at Home
Dandruff is generally described as the condition of the skin wherein silvery scales and shiny flakes separate from the scalp. These flakes collect amidst the hair. Our skin found on the scalp regularly renews itself by shedding the outer layer of the skin. We don’t usually notice the shedding process but when they come they are VERY noticeable. There are two types of dandruff called dry dandruff and oily dandruff. Person having a dry skin suffers from dry dandruff and those having oily skin suffer from oily dandruff. We don’t want to suffer from itchy dandruff and the rest of the contexts are the ways on how to get rid of dandruff at home:



Consider Pure Vinegar
Get 2 teaspoons of pure vinegar and mix it with 6 teaspoons. Of water and apply it directly on the scalp before going to bed. Rinse your head the following morning. After doing your shampoo, rinse it again with the use of vinegar. Perform this procedure once a week for at least 3 months.


Wash the hair with the use of apple cider vinegar
Apply warm apple cider vinegar into the hair. Cover the head with a shower cap for about 30-40 minutes. Rinse it with water and do this for 2 times a week.  On top of apple cider, also consider adding almond or even olive oil to your head as well.  By applying the same techniques, you can find it go away over time as well.


Replace your favorite shampoo
Maybe the current shampoo that you are using does not suit your hair. Try to consider switching to another brand.  Consider looking online for shampoo that is designed for hair with dandruff.  Browse reviews and find one that can potentially suit your needs.


Try Baking Soda
The hair should be wet when you rub a palm full of baking soda. Rinsing the baking soda with water; baking soda will help to get rid of itchiness felt and reduce the number of dandruff present in the scalp.


Active Ingredient: Zinc Pyrithione
Use the anti dandruff shampoo that contains the active ingredient Zinc Pyrithione at least twice a week for at least a month. Normally it takes around one month to get the dandruff under control.


Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is known to cure excess dandruff.  Apply the aloe vera on scalp for 15 minutes before rinsing the hair. Regular use of aloe vera will help to get rid of dandruff.


Fenugreek Seeds
Fenugreek seeds are one of the highly main cures for dandruff. Immerse two tablespoons of these seeds overnight in water and pulverize into a thin paste thereafter. Apply the paste on your scalp and leave for 30 minutes. Thoroughly rinse hair with soap-nut solution. This home treatment works particularly for those with dry dandruff and in such cases. This treatment should be administered twice a week at minimum for the first two weeks and once a week for two weeks more. The water where the seeds where soaked can be a post-shower hair tonic. Then let your hair dry naturally and rub a cotton ball soaked in this liquid against your scalp. It’s only one of the easiest and most successful solutions but it’s also a deterrent to guarantee never having to have dandruff ever.
