Wash with deep cleansing shampoo
The first thing you should do in getting rid of shampoo build up is to wash your hair again. This time, do not use your regular shampoo. Instead, get professional deep cleansing shampoo.

To use it, simply wash your hair with water and wet it evenly. Squeeze about a hazelnut size of deep cleansing shampoo on your palm. Lather it through your hair. Massage your scalp and work it down to your hair tips. Leave the clarifying shampoo on for a few minutes. Then, rinse with water thoroughly. Be sure to rinse all the shampoo from your hair.

Apply conditioner
After washing your hair with deep cleansing shampoo, you should apply conditioner to your hair. The conditioner will bring back your hair’s health after you have used such a shampoo with concentrated formula. Simply apply your conditioner as your normally would. Again, ensure that you have rinsed your hair thoroughly so that the shampoo build up will be removed.

Rub some oil
If the shampoo build up has solidified and attached itself to your scalp, then you can just rub some baby oil on your head. This will soften up the shampoo build up which will then make it easier to remove. Once you have applied the oil and the shampoo build up has been detached from your scalp, lather some clarifying shampoo on your hair and wash it clean with water.

Make a baking soda paste
Baking soda can help clear up your scalp from dirt and it also absorbs grease. Simply heat up some water and let it cool for a bit. Mix some baking soda to it and create a paste mixture. Apply the baking soda paste on your hair. Let it sit for a few minutes then rinse.

Wash with apple cider vinegar
If you have used oil or baking soda paste, it might be a good idea to follow up with apple cider vinegar treatment. Just apply some apple cider vinegar on your scalp before you wash your hair with clarifying shampoo and water. The apple cider vinegar will kill any germs on your head and it will also make your head squeaky clean.
