Insurance Height Weight Chart

Insurance Height Weight Chart
Insurance companies have a height weight chart that they go by in order to give you health or life insurance. If you are applying for health or life insurance you might be asked questions about your health, your lifestyle and other things to determine if you are insurable or not. Your weight is one item that will cause you not to get insurance if you do not fall in the guidelines of their height weight charts. It has been determined by actuaries calculations how big a risk you are to insure. If you have health issues such as hypertension, heart problems, diabetes or smoke and what category you fall under on the height weight charts make the determination if you are eligible for insurance or not.

If you find that, most insurance companies deem you as uninsurable and yet you find one that will insure you with a steep monthly or yearly premium I recommend that you take what you can get. You might not be able to get the best insurance policy available after you have been deemed uninsurable but if one company is willing to give you coverage at a high cost at least you will have some type of coverage. Some type of insurance coverage will be better than no insurance coverage at all. At least you will now be able to go to the doctor or hospital if the need arises.

When your policy takes a rate increase, remember that you are considered a high risk and that you are lucky that you have insurance at all. You need to keep your insurance policy as long as you possibly can, even with the expected rate increases that will come with the high-risk category. You can continue to look for better coverage but until you are able to find a cheaper policy, you should hold onto what you have as long as you possibly can.

There are insurance companies out there that can offer you a hospital indemnity policy. This type of policy is not a typical health insurance policy but it will pay something if you find you are in need of going to the doctor or hospital. This type of policy may be the only alternative you have when you find you do not fit into the correct height weight categories for the insurance companies, and a little insurance coverage is better than none at all.
