Are you easily influenced by your temper? Getting dizzy right after getting extremely mad or anxious is fairly normal. However, it isn’t to say it’s good to be emotional all the time. It is actually a bad thing for a number of reasons, most especially because it can also affect your health through certain factors. For instance, change in temperature is likely to happen and your body will grow from feeling lukewarm to extremely hot. Your vein will also suffer as more blood rushes at an alarming rate, causing high blood pressure, pulse pressure, and a dramatic rise in temperature.


High blood pressure is the result from a number of things. It could be from the food you eat that causes hypertension, a high stress level, and of course, extreme emotions especially anger. You can become more prone to high blood pressure as you get older, and can increase the risk of worse diseases such as stroke, heart disease, and kidney failure. But high blood pressure can start as early as your young adult life. To some people, having high blood pressure is normal and they feel fine with it, but for most, it can be felt with extreme dizziness and the chance to faint. Getting rid of high blood pressure means making changes to your life, because if you get rid of it, you can lower the chances of having serious illnesses when you get older. IN order to help you battle with high blood pressure, here are some things that you should consider doing.



Have a healthy diet
Changing your diet is the first thing you need to do if you want to get rid of high blood pressure. Food can greatly influence your blood pressure, thus some changes to your diet could be necessary. Three meals of whole-grain food and four to six servings of fruits and vegetables should be taken daily. Six servings of nuts, seeds, and legumes per week will also help. Other food includes non-fat or low-fat dairy products, fish, and poultry.


Avoid eating food that can increase your blood pressure like red meat, sweets, and other sugary food. Also, limit your salt to just a teaspoon everyday and avoid prepared foods like frozen dinner and canned goods.


Do regular exercises
Exercise at least 30 minutes a day is also a must. Moderate activities such as jogging and speed walking are enough to do the job. Not to mention, doing your daily chores like gardening, car washing, or shoveling snow can also help. If you want to relax, ride a bike and stroll down the park.


Engaging in more physical activities like playing sports, dancing, and other recreational activities can also help you stay in top shape.


Stay away from vices
If you drink or smoke, you should try to avoid doing these activities all in all. If you insist on drinking, it should be limited to a small amount of drink, once a week. For the smoking part, you might as well quit or use safe e-cigarettes.


Consult your doctor
If your high blood pressure is retained after doing all of the above, consult your doctor as it may be caused by other means and so he can plan medication option for you to choose. Treatments such as diuretics may be necessary if you have too much salt in the body.


Ask your doctor for any other conditions that may be causing the high blood pressure. Sleep apnea and kidney problems are to name a few that could affect one’s blood pressure.
