The usual symptom of a body rash is always the eruption of red bumps on a person’s skin. These bumps often appear all over a person’s body and may be itchy. Here are a few more possible symptoms of body rashes:

  • Body rashes can also appear as pus-filled sacs, depending on what caused them. Usually, illnesses like chicken pox and smallpox come with pus-filled sacs that start off as small red bumps that are itchy.

This is often preceded by a fever or flu-like symptoms.

  • Rashes can also appear like scales or dry patches of skin that you can peel off and will leave a red mark on the skin. This is usually the case when a person suffers from eczema and psoriasis. Sometimes when a person has psoriasis, it appears like dandruff on a person’s skin.

  • Depending on why a person has a rash, sometimes symptoms will include the swelling of the skin, a burning or stinging sensation in these bumps, and even blisters.

  • There are actually rashes that are not itchy, not red, and not painful at all. All they do is appear to change the texture and appearance of a person’s skin, making it look and feel like sandpaper.
