Mononucleosis Symptoms:
There are a number of symptoms that can easily point to mononucleosis and these symptoms are usually present for a few days to a week or more. These symptoms are often mistaken for the flu but when the lymph nodes in the neck start to swell and pain in the stomach accompanies this, mononucleosis is often the quick diagnosis.

• When you have mono, you may experience certain symptoms like fatigue, malaise, a sore throat, and a headache. You will also feel that your sore throat gets to feel even more painful as time goes by and you will feel your lymph nodes or tonsils swelling.
  
  
  


• Oftentimes, when you have mono, the swelling of your tonsils is accompanied by a whitish or yellowish coating on them.


• Sometimes a person who has mono may experience a pinkish rash erupting all over their body. They may also experience other symptoms like muscle pain or stiff joints, loss of appetite, constant feeling of drowsiness, and a high fever.


• Some of the more uncommon symptoms a person may feel when he or she has mono include chest pain, nosebleed, an increased heart rate, and sensitivity to light. A swollen spleen and a swollen liver are usually the more serious symptoms of this ailment.
