- Cranberry juice in its pure form is also a good home remedy for UTI as it prevents bacteria from clinging to the lining of the urinary tract. Find cranberry juice that is not the mixed with other juices. The freshly made juice is preferable. Drink this every day. Add pure apple juice to this for variety.
- Drink fresh berry juice.
- Coriander seeds can also be used as a cure for UTI. Just boil some of these seeds in a pot of water. Strain it. Drink a couple of tablespoons of this mixture. Do this twice a day.
- Apply a heating pad or hot pack on the abdomen to reduce discomfort but do not make the pack too hot.
- Avoid irritating the bladder further by avoiding liquids like coffee, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages.
