When it comes to your kids, it becomes very difficult to convince them to eat the right kind of food. The best way to give them energy and to help them fight the entire day with strength the help of energy bar could be taken. When we hear the word energy bar the first thing that strikes us is that energy bars are for athletics or body builders this is so not true anyone can have energy bars. When it comes to energy bar for children it is different, the kids are suppose to like the taste and when it comes to your energy bar in chocolate flavor then the kids would love it. You can get these energy bars for kids in the market, there are lot of famous brands available in the market. This is the best way you could encourage your child to eat energy bars. If you are worried about artificial ingredients added to these bars then you could even make these energy bars at home itself for kids. These bars are not only organic but they are also very yummy to eat. There are a lot of minerals and vitamins in these energy bars. Here is a recipe, which you could use at home to make your child's favorite energy bar.



Half-cup dates



Half-cup walnuts



Half-cup almonds



Three tablespoons of honey



Three fourth cup of coconut



One fourth cup of raisons



One fourth cup of cranberries



Extra coconut required too



Grid the almonds well with the help of a blade in a food processor. Do the same to the other ingredients. Then add some chocolate to the ingredients as it would attract the children to eat them. Chocolate is the secret element for the kids to eat these bars.



Then if you want to make them as bars, you can mold the dough into rectangular shape bars or else you could also make energy balls instead of energy bars. Mould the dough into balls and then sprinkle the grated coconut. Your energy bars are almost ready, you just have to refrigerate it for almost two hours and your energy bars are ready within no time. You can give one or two bars to your kids to carry and ask them to eat it when the feel like gaining some energy. Trust energy bars for kids also.
