Protein is a nutritional bodybuilding substance that is mostly taken by individuals involved in physical activities and weight training to help in building lean muscle mass and sometimes aid in losing fat. Soy protein on the other hand contains all the essential amino acids and is mostly used by vegetarians as an alternative for protein. The other type of nutrition protein supplement is hemp seed, which is known to have highly digestible and fully packed proteins. Hemp oil on the other hand is a potent and rich source of essential fatty acids.



With that said, be advised that it takes proteins to build and maintain muscles, and since one cannot derive all the necessary proteins from dietary intake, one would need nutrition protein supplement to do the same. If you want to lose weight, gain some weight, or simply hold steady where you are, experts recommend sticking to the old proven formula of: - 45-65% of calories coming from complex carbohydrates, 20-35% coming from fats, and around 10-35% coming from protein.



Nutrition protein supplements have undergone various rigorous tests, and conclusive evidence suggests that a little extra protein will do no harm to you. However, protein overload may trouble the stomach, cause gout, dehydration, damage the kidneys and liver, and cause calcium loss, reason enough to seek professional medical advice on this before using any nutrition protein supplement.
